Members of the Delegation from Iraq acquainted with the Principles of DEA’s Operation

A high level government delegation from Iraq held a working
meeting at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, during which representatives of Data Exchange Agency of the same Ministry made presentations and shared information about ongoing projects in e-Governance development, data exchange infrastructure formation, e-services and open government, as well as experience, which the agency accumulated over the past few years.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Data Exchange Agency, Irakli Gvenetadze and other representatives of the same agency.

“We are happy that representatives of different countries are becoming more interested in sharing DEA’s experience. Today our guests from Iraq took a close look at the Agency’s responsibilities and filed of operation, which is strongly tied with e-Governance and e-services development”, – Irakli Gvenetadze, Chairman of Data Exchange Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia commented.

Colleagues from Iraq also received the first-hand information about the tendencies of cyber and information security development in Georgia and specifics of delivering e-services through the one-stop-shopping platform– Citizen’s Portal MY.GOV.GE.
